There are good reasons why you might want to do this. Such as including a Google map of your shops location in the home page. If you do this by embedding Google’s code in the CMS page then everytime you load the page to edit it you will need to re add the map code.
But if you create a static block called googlemaps first.
Then add your google embed code.
Now just add
to any CMS page where you want the static block googlemaps to appear.
